Advice

My aim is to be accessible and prompt. You need clear advice, and quickly, so you can make decisions on what to do.

You can receive legal advice from me over the phone, in writing, by video call, or in person. I will listen to you, explore your circumstances, identify and explain the issues, and give you options on what you can do. I always aim to provide a preliminary view in our initial conversation. Where this is not possible, I aim to provide advice within 72 hours.

I am developing a tool to give you free advice. You can use the advice tool for an indication of your prospects. It is an innovative system, still in development, and incomplete. Therefore, please use it as a guide, and contact me  before you act on it (feedback welcome).

Representation

I accept instructions from professionals (other lawyers, surveyors, accountants), businesses and individuals.

I will act as your advocate to persuade others of your side. This is a skill learnt through experience. I attend courts and Tribunals, and negotiate with your opponent.

This usually involves some written work to the court, diminishing your opponents evidence, and a  coherent presentation of the evidence that favours your case.

Litigation Management

I can manage all of the legal processes and paperwork to bring or defend a claim. These processes usually have strict time limits and specialist forms.

I’ll usually give you a list of documents, while collating relevant published legal material, drafting persuasive written work and filing court documents in time. It involves managing the court processes, and receiving communications from your opponent, the courts and others. In some matters, I may bring in other lawyers to form a team for your particular case.
